Chris Sutton has given his score prediction ahead of Chelsea’s game against Aston Villa this weekend.
Chelsea host Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, with the clubs winning a game each in last season’s meetings. Interestingly, each side won the away league fixture, so there’s happy memories for this Villa side of travelling to Stamford Bridge.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues have just one victory from their first five league games this season, the routine win against Luton Town. In contrast, opponents Villa have three league wins on the board already and keep growing under Unai Emery.

BBC pundit Sutton has predicted a score draw between the teams ahead of Sunday’s clash.
“Aston Villa are yet to hit the heights we saw when they were in their pomp under Unai Emery last season, but they are still a good side,” Sutton wrote for BBC Sport.
“They came back well to beat Crystal Palace last week and, unlike Chelsea, finding the net is not a problem for them.
“I wrongly backed Chelsea to turn things around too many times last season, and I am not going to make that mistake again.
“It actually would not surprise me if Villa nicked this, to add to Mauricio Pochettino’s problems at Stamford Bridge, but I am going to go for a draw – which probably means Chelsea will win!
“Sutton’s prediction: 1-1.”

Chelsea need to somehow try make Stamford Bridge a fortress again, something it’s not been now for a couple of years.
The Chelsea Chronicle has predicted the starting line-up Pochettino will select to face Villa.
In our view, the Blues should deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation with four out-and-out attackers to try end this goal drought.
