Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga uploaded an amusing three-word post on social media today after his performance in the FA Cup.
It was a frantic afternoon at Stamford Bridge that eventually saw Chelsea beat Plymouth Argyle 2-1 after extra time to reach the FA Cup fifth round.
First of all, it was confirmed this morning that Blues manager Thomas Tuchel would be missing from the bench after testing positive for Covid-19. First-team coach Arno Michels stepped into his shoes for the day to lead the side.
It went from bad to worse for Chelsea when the visitors went in front at Stamford Bridge via Macaulay Gillesphey’s header inside the opening 10 minutes.
Full-backs Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso ended up both scoring to swing the game in Chelsea’s favour. They needed their goalkeeper Kepa to save a Ryan Hardie penalty in the 118th minute during extra time, though.
“I got you,” Kepa wrote on Instagram after coming to his side’s rescue yet again from the penalty spot.
He received response from the likes of Mason Mount, as well as Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.

Incidentally, Blues teammate Saul Niguez posted a message on Twitter to Kepa as well.
Chelsea can win silverware this season
Unfortunately, the Premier League crown looks out of sight given the gap to impressive rivals Manchester City. Tuchel’s squad are definitely right in the mix to win at least one trophy this season, though.
It was a little nervous at times during Saturday’s classic cup tie against Plymouth, but they ended up successfully qualifying for the next round.
Chelsea are someone everyone will want to avoid next, especially as they’ve been formidable in cups lately.
There is a chance to win the FIFA Club World Cup next week. Also, there is a Carabao Cup final against Liverpool and the resumption of the Champions League knockout rounds this month.
It’s a case for any Chelsea manager that they need to keep ticking off successes, so another trophy this season should hopefully keep fans and the owner happy.
