Chelsea’s newest signing Nicolas Jackson has shared that he’s heard very positive things about Mauricio Pochettino.
Chelsea completed the signing of Nicolas Jackson, 22, yesterday from Spanish La Liga club Villarreal.
The 22-year-old striker has arrived on an eight-year deal at Stamford Bridge ahead of a new season, where there’s a lot of changes happening around the club.
On top of the mass exodus of players, Mauricio Pochettino officially starts work this weekend as the new Blues head coach.

Speaking immediately after signing for Chelsea, Jackson has shared he’s already spoken to people within the game about his new manager.
Sadio Mane, who plays alongside Jackson at international level with Senegal, has given a rave review about Pochettino after working under him at Southampton.
“I spoke to Sadio Mane about him and he spoke very highly of him, he said amazing things about him. Sadio told me the manager is going to help me a lot to improve and do well if I listen to what he has to tell me, so that is exactly what I’m going to do,” Jackson told the club’s official website.

Jackson, who scored 13 goals in 38 Villarreal appearances last season, is joining Chelsea to bolster the centre-forward options.
We’re intrigued to see if he’s ready to come straight into the Blues line-up, though.
The Chelsea striker curse is a popular topic for discussion and one that so many high-profile forwards have fallen into during recent years.
So, could it take a relatively unknown youngster to finally break the No 9 curse?
It’s up to Jackson, along with the rest of the Chelsea players, to impress Pochettino during this summer’s pre-season.
