Mario Melchiot noticed Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic get really tired towards the end of yesterday’s game in the Premier League.
Chelsea returned to action on Tuesday with a 2-0 win over Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge, which leaves them eighth in the league table right now.
Pulisic, who had a decent World Cup campaign with the United States, hasn’t been a regular starter this season for the Blues.
However, the 24-year-old winger did start against Bournemouth and looked an attacking threat from the left flank. For example, he had a goal ruled out because of a foul in the build up. He was very unfortunate not to win his side a penalty, too.

Melchiot noticed Pulisic get tired
ESPN pundit and former Chelsea defender Melchiot claims Pulisic did fade out of the contest against Bournemouth.
He was replaced in the 82nd minute after a quieter second-half display, but should be content with a solid first-half contribution.
“Chelsea in the first-half was dominating and Pulisic was part of that journey. But the only thing I felt when the second-half came it looked like the energy was coming down in the last 20 minutes. Pulisic going up front the first-half he was trying hard to go left and right with his movement. I want to see him take people on more,” Melchiot told ESPN.

In fairness, Pulisic hasn’t completed 90 minutes in a single Premier League game this season.
It’s no real surprise if the American is still trying to find his best form and fitness, something that can happen with more regular minutes.
90min claimed earlier this month that Pulisic is desperate to go reignite his career elsewhere after his Stamford Bridge career went quiet. Is there a chance back for him in Chelsea colours under Graham Potter, though?
