Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly reportedly doesn’t want to send Christian Pulisic out on loan to a Premier League rival next month.
According to 90min, Pulisic wants to leave Stamford Bridge and is “desperate” to reignite his career elsewhere.
It is understood that Liverpool and Newcastle United are both keen on signing the 24-year-old Blues player on loan in January. However, Boehly is against the idea of strengthening a direct league rival.
The report adds Chelsea would prefer to loan the left-winger out overseas, with European clubs AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund all admirers. Unfortunately, none of them want to match Chelsea’s demands of paying his wages in full.

Pulisic will certainly want to be playing regularly in the second half of the season, which is totally understandable after a strong World Cup while representing the United States.
Described as “super talented” by U.S teammate Tyler Adams, Pulisic is a talisman for his country when he plays on the international stage. He won’t want to go back to the fringes of the Chelsea squad, though.
In our view, loaning out Pulisic for the rest of the campaign won’t have much benefit.
If he’s convinced he wants to leave the club, Chelsea should try raise as much cash as possible from his sale.
The Mirror claims that Graham Potter’s side will demand at least £40million to grant Pulisic’s permanent exit.
All eyes should be on Chelsea boss Graham Potter to watch what he does with his group of players in the next month.
Most supporters, rightly so, gave Potter the benefit of the doubt during his opening months in charge as he settled into life at Stamford Bridge.
However, it would be great to see some consistency and a string of positive results moving forward.
