Tony Cascarino believes that Napoli’s Victor Osimhen would be the “perfect” signing for Chelsea.
Osimhen, who’s one of Europe’s most in-form strikers, has been fantastic for Napoli this season.
The centre-forward’s scored 25 goals in 29 games across all competitions so far this campaign, proving to be a big hit in both the Serie A and the Champions League.
His Napoli side are flying towards the Serie A league title. They’re in the Champions League quarter-finals, too.

Pundit Tony Cascarino suggests Chelsea need to sign an attacker like Osimhen:
“Victor Osimhen at Napoli would be perfect for Chelsea. He is a young, dynamic striker in the mould of George Weah,” Cascarino told The Times.
It’s no secret that Graham Potter’s side are lacking a proper scorer in the No.9 position.
Kai Havertz is the top scorer for the Blues this season with nine goals, which just highlights the need to find a prolific striker in the summer.

Chelsea links to Osimhen do already exist.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg reported on Twitter last week that Chelsea are interested in signing Osimhen and have held talks about signing him.
In our view, Napoli’s goal machine would be a mouth-watering addition at Stamford Bridge. We’ve been wrong in the past about striker signings, though.
Interestingly, Rio Ferdinand recently said that Osimhen is having a better season than Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford, who’s scored 27 goals across all competitions so far.
