Pedro Neto’s finest hour in a Chelsea shirt came in the Blues’ 2-1 win against Fulham last season.
He scored an extremely late winner that kept Chelsea’s Champions League hopes alive. Enzo Maresca’s side, of course, went on to qualify for the competition, showing just how significant that goal was.
Former Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Gary O’Neil recently praised Neto, claiming that the 25-year-old is the best winger that he has ever worked with.
O’Neil and Fulham are not the only ones who have seen Neto’s talent, though. His greatest moment as a Chelsea player so far certainly did come against the Cottagers away, but his biggest contribution at home was against Arsenal.

Pedro Neto scored equaliser in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal in November 2024
This time last year, Chelsea were heading to defeat against their London rivals Arsenal, who were winning a Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge 1-0.
However, in the 70th minute, Neto stepped up and scored a terrific equaliser from outside the box.
The Portuguese is going to have another chance to cause Arsenal damage later this month when Mikel Arteta’s men make the trip to Stamford Bridge once again.
Before that, Neto and Co take on Barcelona in the Champions League, needing a win after their 2-2 draw with Qarabag.

In the Premier League, Chelsea have won their last 10 evening kick-offs at Stamford Bridge, which is a good sign ahead of the visit of Barcelona. Under the lights, they can clearly go up another gear.

Pedro Neto’s stats in Arsenal draw
Neto’s all-round performance against Arsenal a year ago was high quality. As well as scoring the all-important equaliser, he also made two key passes and created one big chance.
| Pedro Neto’s stats in 1-1 draw with Arsenal | Total |
| Minutes | 90 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Big chances created | 1 |
| Key passes | 2 |
| Crosses (accurate) | 4 (3) |
| Shots | 3 |
| Ground duels (won) | 7 (4) |
When Chelsea face Arsenal again on 25 November, hopefully Neto can put in another display like that.
If he does, then Maresca’s team will have a great chance of penetrating an Arsenal defence that has been virtually impregnable this season.
