Chelsea could find it hard to get rid of one of their players in the summer.
Marc Cucurella is one member of Mauricio Pochettino‘s squad who Chelsea want to sell at the end of the season, according to GiveMeSport.
However, the same outlet has also claimed that the left-back has limited suitors right now, which does not come as a complete surprise.
Cucurella has missed a large chunk of this season because of injury and has failed to live up to his price tag since joining Chelsea.
The Blues bought the 25-year-old from Brighton & Hove Albion for £62m (The Guardian) in 2022, but he has only made eight starts in the current Premier League campaign and has played out of position at times. Pochettino has hinted that Cucurella could start against Newcastle United tonight, though, after recovering from ankle surgery.

Marc Cucurella has limited suitors
It is the middle of the season and Cucurella has not played a game for a while, so it is understandable that he is not at the top of everyone’s list right now.
His wages are probably putting clubs off as well, but when the campaign finishes and Premier League teams start scouring the market for a new left-back, then maybe the Spaniard could become a viable loan option.
That solves any potential wage issues, while Cucurella is someone with quite a bit of experience in the English top flight now.
Chelsea will want a good fee and all of his salary off their books, but after his struggles in west London, that may not happen this summer.
What the Blues probably need, then, is for the former Brighton man to have a productive loan spell somewhere else before perhaps selling him permanently in 2025. With Ben Chilwell picking up another injury, though, Cucurella could have the chance to prove himself and show that he should not be sold.
