The transfer speculation around Chelsea right now means it could yet still be an extremely busy January window for them.
Enzo Maresca is doing a pretty good job so far with the Chelsea squad during his first season in charge, but there’s plenty of rumours about potential incomings and outgoings at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea could sanction the sales of several players in January to help fund a move for Crystal Palace and England centre-back Marc Guehi.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is set to stay in the Premier League
According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea are listening to offers for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the current window.
It is explained that the 26-year-old midfielder is popular inside the Blues dressing room because of his great attitude, but he’s found himself struggling for minutes during his debut season at Stamford Bridge.
The report states that Dewsbury-Hall is ‘likely’ to remain in the Premier League if he secures a January transfer. Apparently, the Englishman’s attracting interest from both Brighton and West Ham.
Dewsbury-Hall’s played 15 games so far this season across all competitions, scoring two goals. However, he’s only made five appearances in the league, starting zero top-flight matches.
Maresca never wanted Chelsea to sign Dewsbury-Hall in the summer because he didn’t feel like he was needed. The pair combined superbly well at Leicester City last season in the Championship, but the step up and level of competition is quite significant. Overall, his £30m signing (BBC) has been a big error from the club.
What Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall did under Enzo Maresca last season
When Maresca guided Leicester to the Championship title and promotion last season, Dewsbury-Hall was arguably his most important player on the pitch.
The box-to-box midfielder was instrumental as an attacking threat for the Foxes, enjoying the best campaign of his career to date.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 49 | 12 | 14 |
Even though Maresca knows Dewsbury-Hall’s strengths, he’s reluctant to play him too much at Chelsea. The Englishman’s playing across the various cup competitions and doing well, but he’s not come to the club to sit on the bench most weekends.
