The futures of several Chelsea players are currently up in the air.

The likes of Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah all continue to be linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.

Gallagher is attracting interest from Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, while Broja is thought to be a target for Everton.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Everton board really like the striker.

As things stand, then, it looks like players such as Gallagher and Broja could leave Chelsea this summer.

Chelsea star wants clarity on his future

With Euro 2024 about to start, Gallagher and Broja are two Chelsea players who would have wanted their futures sorted out by now.

However, that has obviously not happened, with both men still in limbo.

In fact, according to GiveMeSport, Gallagher actually met with his agency at the end of last week to gain some clarity on his situation in west London.

The Euros starts on Friday, though, so it now looks like nothing will happen for the time being.

Will Conor Gallagher start for England against Serbia?

Gallagher had a very strong 2023/24 season. The midfielder made 37 appearances in the Premier League and recorded 85 tackles, putting him in the top 15 players for that department (FBref).

Even so, it does not look like Gallagher will be included in England’s starting XI when they take on Serbia this Sunday.

The Telegraph recently claimed that Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold is in “pole position” to start in midfield alongside Arsenal’s Declan Rice.

That means there will be no room for Gallagher when the Three Lions take to the Veltins-Arena pitch for their first match of Euro 2024.

If the England international is sold after the tournament, he could go for a big fee. According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea want a minimum of £50m for Gallagher in the upcoming transfer window. Whether Villa or Tottenham would be willing to pay that remains to be seen.
