Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea.
In October, one report from TEAMtalk claimed that Chelsea were monitoring Aaron Ramsdale‘s situation at the Emirates and would consider making a move for him if he becomes available.
Newcastle United, though, also look like they could become an option for the 25-year-old. In fact, according to talkSPORT, he is actually keen on a move to St James’ Park.
However, he is unlikely to come cheap, with the same outlet stating that the Englishman could cost up to £50m in January.
Ramsdale was Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper last season but has since dropped to the bench following David Raya’s arrival.

Who is Aaron Ramsdale more likely to choose, Chelsea or Newcastle?
If it came down to a choice between the two, you could imagine him leaning towards Newcastle.
It is a move that would not upset Arsenal supporters with the Magpies not being a London rival like Chelsea, while their league position may make them a more appealing destination.
There is a good chance that Newcastle qualify for the Champions League again through the Premier League, whereas Mauricio Pochettino‘s side probably need a miracle at this point.
Still, you cannot rule out Chelsea. Ramsdale may want to stay in London, while the Blues are never afraid to spend money.
Arsenal legend Ray Parlour thinks Chelsea could definitely be an option, though he is not expecting a move in January.
But Ramsdale will want to go to Euro 2024 and if he is not playing, then that obviously reduces his chances of going. So a move in the winter transfer window would not be a complete shock.
Chelsea still have Robert Sanchez, however, who they only signed in the summer. The club may want to give him a full season before bringing in a new shot-stopper.
