Chelsea are likely to appeal to one winger during this transfer window.
They did want Michael Olise, but he is now off the table following his move to Bayern Munich.
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Olise got frustrated with Chelsea when the club were still after his signature.
With the 22-year-old now at Bayern, the Blues have been forced to look elsewhere.
Karim Adeyemi, who is currently at Bayern’s rivals Borussia Dortmund, and Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams are two other wide attackers Chelsea have since been linked with.

Chelsea could sign left winger this summer
Olise is a right winger, but it looks like Chelsea now want to sign a left winger.
That could be bad news for Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling, who were the main options for that position last season.
One left winger who Chelsea seem to be interested in is Adeyemi.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed on X that the Blues have him on their shortlist.
And according to Plettenberg, the 22-year-old wants to move to the Premier League if he does leave Dortmund this summer.

Chelsea an appealing destination for Karim Adeyemi
Chelsea are not in the Champions League, but they are a Premier League side, one of the biggest in the division, and play their football in London.
It makes them a very attractive proposition for someone like Adeyemi, who seems keen to test out the English top flight one day.
However, Chelsea are unlikely to be the only option that the Germany international has.
It has been reported that Liverpool also want Adeyemi, meaning another transfer tussle between the Reds and Chelsea could ensue.
The two did battle last summer over midfielders Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
Chelsea won on both occasions so will be confident that they can beat Liverpool in any potential race for Adeyemi, who earns around £98,000 a week at Dortmund (Capology).
