Chelsea could be in for another transfer battle with Premier League rivals Liverpool this summer.
Last year, Chelsea came out on top in their tussles with Liverpool for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
The Reds were interested in the two midfielders, but both the Ecuadorian and Belgian decided to join the Blues in the end.
That, however, did not stop Liverpool from finishing above their rivals in the table.
They could now be set to do battle again, with both clubs thought to be interested in the same winger. The Blues are also keen on signing another striker. According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are still targeting Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion.

Chelsea and Liverpool eyeing the same winger
Chelsea currently have Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling for the left flank.
However, it is an area of the squad that the club could still strengthen before the transfer window closes.
One of their targets could end up joining Liverpool, though.
According to Sky Sports Germany, while Chelsea are interested in Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi, Liverpool are also keen on signing him this summer.
Adeyemi helped Dortmund to reach the Champions League final last season, making 12 appearances in the competition and scoring a couple of goals along the way.

Would Karim Adeyemi choose Liverpool over Chelsea?
Liverpool have Champions League football, so that is one advantage that the Reds have over their Premier League rivals.
With Arne Slot replacing Jurgen Klopp as manager, though, they obviously cannot rely on the German to charm their targets anymore.
Chelsea have also beaten Liverpool to signings in the past, without European football, so there is still a very good chance that Adeyemi picks them over Slot’s side.
In terms of how much the 22-year-old could cost this summer, TEAMtalk recently claimed that Dortmund would consider offers of around £25m, making him a very attainable target for the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.
