German champions Bayern Munich are currently in discussions with a Chelsea first-team player about possibly signing him.
While Chelsea fans will be excited about any new arrivals at Stamford Bridge this summer, it will be equally intriguing to see which individuals leave at the end of the season.
It has been reported that Chelsea plan to sell several players this summer as they try to raise funds for a new striker.
There are so many stars on their books, both in the squad and out on loan, so it should be relatively easy for them to make sales.

Bayern Munich locked in talks with Christopher Nkunku’s camp
The green light has been signalled that Christopher Nkunku, 27, will leave Chelsea this summer.
Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg reports via X that the decision has already been made for Nkunku to exit Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
Apparently, Bayern are monitoring the attacker’s current situation and face competition from other top sides for his signature.
It is explained that the German Bundesliga champions are locked in discussions with the player’s camp as they continue to assess his future.
Paul Merson rates Christopher Nkunku as an “intelligent” footballer, but admits his path at Chelsea has been blocked by teammate Cole Palmer.
Palmer comes out on top in the battle to start as the central No 10 playmaker, which results in Nkunku playing slightly out of position as a striker or a winger. Unfortunately, he can’t find a place in Enzo Maresca’s best XI.
The fact that Bayern are locked in talks with the Chelsea man is intriguing because they were close to signing him midway through the season. Back in January, Bayern Munich agreed on verbal terms with Christopher Nkunku, but he ended up staying put in West London.

How much Chelsea want for Christopher Nkunku
It’s been claimed that Chelsea want £35m to sell Christopher Nkunku this summer, which would be a significant loss on the £52m they paid to sign him from RB Leipzig in the 2023 summer transfer window.
Even though he’s found it difficult to establish himself in the Blues line-up, he’s still a clinical goalscorer and could definitely thrive elsewhere in the right system.
| Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Premier League | 27 | 3 | 2 |
| Conference League | 9 | 5 | 3 |
| Conference League qualifiers | 2 | 2 | 0 |
| FA Cup | 2 | 1 | 0 |
| Carabao Cup | 2 | 3 | 0 |
Christopher Nkunku is receiving Premier League interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United. Ideally, we would much prefer to see Chelsea sell him to a club in a different league.
