One Chelsea player does not look too keen on moving to Saudi Arabia this summer amid interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Chelsea managed to do a bit of business with Saudi Arabian clubs last year after selling Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy to Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli respectively.
Koulibaly really struggled at Chelsea, leaving the club for Al-Hilal after just one season in west London.
As well as the central defender and Mendy, N’Golo Kante also left England for Saudi Arabia, joining Al-Ittihad.
For now, though, it does not seem like one Chelsea player will be moving to the Saudi Pro League.

Kepa Arrizabalaga rejects Saudi Pro League move
Kepa Arrizabalaga is waiting for Real Madrid so has turned down a switch to Saudi Arabia as a result.
That is what journalist Simon Phillips has claimed. On his Substack, he wrote: “Kepa Arrizabalaga rejected a move to Saudi because at this moment he is holding out for a move to Real Madrid — that is where he ideally wants to go.”
If Real Madrid do not return for Kepa, though, then he is going to have to consider a move to the Saudi Pro League.
There is no room for him in Enzo Maresca‘s squad. The Blues already possess Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic, while Chelsea could bag a new goalkeeper before the transfer window closes.
Lack of interest in Kepa Arrizabalaga
Right now, Kepa does not seem to be generating too much interest, with a move to Saudi Arabia having been the only option on the table by the looks of things.
Of course, there is still time for Real Madrid to make a move for the Spaniard, who spent last season at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, he has not done too much to attract suitors, especially from the Premier League.
Chelsea legend Petr Cech once hailed Kepa as “brilliant” in a column for Chelsea’s official website after a good run of form. But his overall performances have clearly not convinced too many other sides.
His wages, a salary of £150,000 a week, according to Spotrac, will also not help him to get out of Stamford Bridge this summer.
