Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka has no intention of joining one club this month.

Carney Chukwuemeka will be desperate to leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes after struggling for game time this season.

The 21-year-old has not played a single minute of football in the Premier League and is now being linked to several clubs.

Borussia Dortmund are one side who are interested in Chukwuemeka and while a move to a European giant like the German outfit may appeal to the Chelsea youngster, there is one club he is not so keen on joining.

Carney Chukwuemeka does not want to join Strasbourg

For Chelsea, it would be very easy to send Chukwuemeka to Strasbourg on loan, with the Ligue 1 team being their sister club.

The Blues would have to recall one of their current loanees there, but that would not really be an issue for them.

Rather, the real problem is Chukwuemeka’s stance on signing for Strasbourg. According to The Guardian, he has “no interest” in joining Liam Rosenior’s side.

Last week, it was reported that Chelsea were considering offering Chukwuemeka to Crystal Palace in their bid to land Marc Guehi. But with Chalobah set to return to Chelsea, the club may opt against signing a new centre-half this month.

Carney Chukwuemeka could join Borussia Dortmund on loan like Ian Maatsen

Right now, Dortmund look like a more likely destination than Strasbourg for Chukwuemeka.

A move there would see the former Aston Villa player imitate Ian Maatsen, who left Chelsea last January to join Dortmund on loan.

If Chelsea are to allow Chukwuemeka to join Dortmund or another club temporarily during this transfer window, then demands are going to have to be met.

For example, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues expect a loan fee for the England youth international and also want his wages to be covered.

For Chukwuemeka’s sake, hopefully that gets sorted, because he is wasting away at Chelsea right now.
