It looks like Manchester City had the opportunity to sign one former Chelsea player during this transfer window.
It has been a bit of a quiet transfer window for Chelsea‘s rivals Man City, with the Premier League champions only bringing in Savinho so far.
Chelsea, in contrast, have been very busy, making signings and sales. They confirmed the arrival of Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal last week, for example.
Jorgensen is already impressing Chelsea’s fanbase and will now be hoping to start their first game of the season against City.
Chelsea are also finalising the sale of Conor Gallagher to Atletico Madrid, and it looks like City could be about to sell one of their players to the Champions League club as well.

Atletico Madrid offered Joao Felix to Man City
Julian Alvarez is set to join Atletico from City after the two clubs agreed a £82m deal, according to Sky Sports.
However, before agreeing that deal, the Daily Mail had claimed that Atletico had offered Joao Felix to City in their bid to land Alvarez, clearly trying to bring his price tag down.
In the end, though, the two sides have agreed a straight cash deal, so it looks unlikely that Felix will be joining City during this transfer window.
The forward spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Chelsea. Felix is now a target for Aston Villa, so it is still possible that he gets a move to the Premier League this summer.
How would Chelsea fans have felt about Joao Felix joining Man City?
Some would have perhaps been a bit disappointed. Felix was quite a popular figure among a section of the Chelsea fanbase during his loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese attacker was quite technical and skilful, which did not go unnoticed.
But with Enzo Maresca possessing Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku, there is no reason for Chelsea to sign a player of Felix’s profile.
Maresca has already expressed his love for Nkunku, meaning that the Frenchman is likely to get plenty of game time in the new season if he can stay fit.
