While Chelsea seem prepared to sell Ian Maatsen this month, the club are reportedly not in a hurry to get rid of him.
Ian Maatsen is attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund, but the Evening Standard has claimed that Chelsea are not in a rush to part ways with the 21-year-old because of their injury crisis, though they would be willing to do business with their German counterparts for £30m.
Maatsen, however, still looks likely to leave Stamford Bridge during this transfer window.
Last month, the Daily Mirror reported that the left-back would consider any opportunities where regular football would be on offer, showing his desire for an exit. And it is hardly a surprise that he wants a change in environment.
Maatsen has been constantly overlooked by Mauricio Pochettino this season, managing to make just one start in the Premier League under the Argentine.

Chelsea not in a hurry to sell Ian Maatsen
It does not look like Chelsea are forcing Maatsen out of the club, which does make sense because of all of their injury problems right now.
The Netherlands U21 international is a very versatile player, so he is a good option to have available.
At the same time, though, if the right offer arrives, it seems the Blues would be prepared to sell.
The above is also quite logical because once everyone is fit again, Maatsen is going to become surplus to requirements. He is already finding it hard to rack up minutes despite there being injuries.
His contract expires next year as well, giving Chelsea another reason to sell the defender as they try to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Dortmund do not look too keen on paying a big fee for Maatsen, but you certainly can see him joining the Bundesliga club or another outfit this month.
