Chelsea are likely to send Armando Broja out on loan next season, according to reports.
Armando Broja, who’s a product of the Chelsea academy, has had an extremely frustrating 2022/23 season.
The 21-year-old striker was promoted to the first-team Blues squad during this campaign, but completely missed the second half of it with a long-term knee problem.
However, The Evening Standard claimed earlier this month that Broja’s rehabilitation is ahead of schedule and he’s planning to be fit enough to try impress new manager Mauricio Pochettino during this summer’s pre-season fixtures.

Now, journalist Rudy Galetti reports that Broja is expected to spend next season out on loan away from Chelsea.
Galetti told GiveMeSport: “In all likelihood, Armando Broja will temporarily leave Chelsea in the summer.
“I say temporarily because there are some European clubs that are ready to ask for him but, at the moment, the sensation is that the only way to part ways with Chelsea is on loan.”

Journalist Simon Phillips recently claimed on his Substack that Brighton and Brentford both share an interest in Broja this summer. He suggests that Chelsea will have him in their first-team group next season, though.
With contrasting reports now doing the rounds, let’s wait and see what Pochettino wants to do with the highly-rated forward.
We think the young attacker can be a great option in the Chelsea squad next season, especially if he’s being coached by Pochettino.
Most fans will agree that the Blues need to sign a proven No 9 who’s proven at the highest level, but Broja is a perfect understudy to that.
The only concern around Chelsea’s youngster is how will he react to a serious injury?
