Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool could all find themselves in a fierce transfer battle this summer.

Last summer, Chelsea and Liverpool already went toe-to-toe for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

The former, of course, came out on top on both occasions, landing Caicedo, who is now the club’s most expensive signing ever, and Lavia in the very same transfer window.

However, that did not stop Liverpool from having a better season than their Premier League rivals, with the Reds finishing a few positions above the Blues and in the Champions League places.

The two English giants could be set to cross paths again in the transfer window this summer.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool targeting Premier League star

Caicedo, formerly of Brighton & Hove Albion, was the Premier League player Chelsea and Liverpool did battle over last year.

Fast forward to now, and their next tussle could be over Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon and also involve Manchester United.

According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea want to sign the winger, who could cost around £75m this summer.

However, the same outlet claims that Liverpool are the club who are currently showing the most interest in Gordon.

As well as Liverpool and Chelsea, Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are also said to have the 23-year-old on their radar.

Who could Chelsea sign if they miss out on Anthony Gordon this summer?

Despite having Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling, Chelsea seem to be looking at Gordon.

However, the England international is not the only left winger who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

In May, it was reported that Chelsea were one of the frontrunners for Crysencio Summerville’s signature.

It has also been claimed that the Leeds United man could cost £40m, which would make him a much cheaper signing than Gordon.

He was excellent for Leeds in the Championship last season, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists in 46 appearances.

If Chelsea are desperate for a new left winger and are on a budget, then the 22-year-old could be a good option for them this summer.
