Chelsea could yet make a late move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho in the final few days of the summer transfer window.

That is according to a report from The Secret Scout.

They claimed on X last night that Chelsea have discussed several possible attackers they could try to bring in before the end of the week, including Jadon Sancho.

So, will we see things hot up for the 23-year-old United attacker before Friday’s deadline day?

Sancho has struggled to really make his mark at Old Trafford since a huge £73million (Sky Sports) arrival from Borussia Dortmund a couple of years ago.

However, the skilful winger has done some great things in his career to date and clearly has immense individual talent.

Described as “fantastic” by Dortmund manager Edin Terzic (Kicker), Sancho was fantastic as a youngster in German football.

The Englishman scored 50 goals and made 64 assists in 137 Dortmund appearances before moving to Manchester.

Chelsea fans will be interested to hear Sancho did grow up a a Blues supporter.

He told talkSPORT in 2021: “I was a Chelsea fan growing up, I can’t lie! Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard were my favourite players at the time.”

Football.London recently claimed that Chelsea want their final signing this summer to be a creative attacker that can play as a winger or No 10.

If the Blues signed the version of Sancho everybody saw in Germany, he could help transform the side under Mauricio Pochettino.
