Chelsea supporters have come up with an interesting transfer theory after reports that Nicolas Jackson could end up exiting Stamford Bridge.

The latest noise in the transfer rumour mill is that Nicolas Jackson, 24, could be sold by Chelsea in this summer window.

Even though the striker has scored 30 goals in 81 Blues appearances across the last two years, he’s always been in a battle to truly win over the fanbase. It looks like the writing may be on the wall for his future now that Joao Pedro and Liam Delap have joined Enzo Maresca’s squad.

A transfer development this week reported that there is a ‘concrete possibility’ Jackson leaves Chelsea this summer as clubs start to enquire.

Many Blues fans on social media have reacted to the Jackson update by predicting that he could be used in a swap deal for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.

In terms of interest in him, reports in June claimed that Villa manager Unai Emery is eyeing a move for Jackson after previously working with him at Villarreal.

Meanwhile, Villa and England playmaker Rogers, 22, has been mentioned as a potential Chelsea target in recent times. In fact, it was reported in June that Chelsea have contacted the agents of Rogers, who’s valued at £80m by Villa.

Perhaps there may be some logic to the two Premier League rivals discussing a swap deal, but it’s worth adding that Villa would prefer not to lose Rogers, who was one of the division’s most exciting attacking midfielders last season.
