Chelsea target Dusan Vlahovic is unsure about joining the Blues – due to the fact there is no UEFA Champions League football at Stamford Bridge next season.
That is according to Sport Media Set – however, Chelsea have only just agreed a fee to sign him.
So, what is the situation involving Dusan Vlahovic and Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well – according to Calcio Mercato – Chelsea and Juventus have agreed a £30m fee for the Serbian, with Romelu Lukaku also moving to Turin as part of the deal.
However – by the sounds of it – Vlahovic may need convincing about a move to Stamford Bridge.
That initially seemed to be the case anyway when Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the 23-year-old does not rate Mauricio Pochettino as a coach.

Now – however – Sport Media Set believe Vlahovic has more reservations about Chelsea, with the lack of UEFA Champions League football playing on his mind.
The Italian news outlet believe the Juventus No.9 is also unsure about joining the Blues due to the fact Pochettino has not guaranteed him a starting role.
Vlahovic must fight for place in starting XI at Chelsea
If Sport Media Set’s report is accurate, it makes no sense.
We can understand Vlahovic’s desire to play Champions League football, but the Serbia international has known Chelsea wouldn’t be playing in Europe’s greatest club competition next season for some time now.
He also cannot expect to simply arrive at Stamford Bridge and walk into the starting XI.

Nicolas Jackson has shone throughout pre-season and made a name for himself by working hard. Vlahovic would be wise to copy the Senegal international in that respect, rather than make entitled demands.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Chelsea and Juventus remain in talks – both Lukaku and Vlahovic’s personal terms still need to be sorted out.
