Chelsea are currently in talks with Juventus over a deal to sign Dusan Vlahovic – a player who is not actually a fan of Mauricio Pochettino.
That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
So, what was said about Dusan Vlahovic and Mauricio Pochettino? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, this is a major twist – to say the least.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe Vlahovic is not 100% convinced by Pochettino, despite the fact Chelsea and Juventus have been in talks about a player-plus-cash deal involving Romelu Lukaku for weeks now.
The Italian news outlet add that Chelsea themselves are not entirely sure about signing the Serbia international either, who Juventus paid £66.6m to sign from Fiorentina in January 2022.

However, a swap deal with Juventus seems to be the only way the Blues can offload Lukaku this summer, unless the Belgian changes his mind about a move to Saudi Arabia.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus want €40m (£34m) and the Belgium international as part of the deal for Vlahovic, and the decision will be left to Pochettino.
Pochettino would be mad to work with Vlahovic at Chelsea
If Vlahovic really isn’t a fan of Pochettino, then Chelsea should change course and focus on selling Lukaku to Juventus, without taking the 23-year-old in return.
According to the Daily Mail, Bayern Munich are considering a move for the Serbian if they continue to be frustrated in their attempts to buy Harry Kane.

Thomas Tuchel signing Vlahovic instead – leaving Juventus to buy Lukaku as a replacement – would be the ideal way for Chelsea to get out of these tricky negotiations, if talk of the striker not liking Pochettino is true.
The Guardian have even added that the Argentine is not sold on bringing the Juventus No.9 to Stamford Bridge, so this deal poses a lot of question marks.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as talks between Chelsea and Juventus continue.
