Chelsea could spend big this summer after having a pretty quiet January transfer window.
There were exits on deadline day and last month, with the likes of Joao Felix, Axel Disasi and Cesare Casadei all leaving Chelsea.
However, Mathis Amougou was the Blues’ only signing, with the midfielder arriving from Saint-Etienne. Chelsea opted against sending Amougou to Strasbourg, but it could be something that they do in the future since the Frenchman is still just 19.
While Chelsea fans may be disappointed with how January went, they could be in for a very exciting summer.

Chelsea have already started work on Jamie Gittens deal
One player who was linked to Chelsea during the January transfer window was Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens.
Chelsea were never able to agree a deal with Dortmund for the 20-year-old, but a move this summer looks possible.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues have already “laid the groundwork” to sign Gittens after having conversations about the attacker in January.
He will not come cheap, though. It has been claimed that Dortmund value Gittens at a whopping £84m.

What are the chances of Jamie Gittens leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer?
Dortmund are at serious risk of losing Gittens amid interest from Chelsea and other clubs.
It has been reported that Gittens is “highly likely” to leave Dortmund if the German side fail to qualify for the Champions League. Looking at the Bundesliga table, there is a possibility of that happening.
At present, Niko Kovac’s team sit in 11th, although they are only four points behind RB Leipzig in fourth. But if their form under Kovac does not improve, then that gap is only going to increase.
While Dortmund as a whole have struggled this season, Gittens has impressed. The England U21 international has come up with 10 goal contributions in 20 league appearances, catching the attention of Chelsea as a result.
They were quiet last month, but the Blues could make a lot of noise in the next transfer window.
