Chelsea’s attack could be about to get a whole lot better, with the Blues currently being linked with a really dangerous forward.

Enzo Maresca already has a talented crop of offensive players, including the likes of Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Joao Felix.

He also has Christopher Nkunku, though it remains to be seen how long for, given the 27-year-old’s lack of game time this season.

Reports suggest Nkunku could ask to leave Chelsea in January. If the Frenchman stays, however, he could reunite with one of his former teammates at RB Leipzig.

Chelsea keen on Barcelona’s Dani Olmo

Barcelona only signed Olmo from Leipzig in the summer, but the Catalan club are having trouble registering him because of their financial issues.

As a result, the attacking midfielder, who cost his current employers £51m, could leave the Spotify Camp Nou in the winter transfer window.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea are one side who are interested in Olmo and have made an enquiry about signing him.

His agent, though, is adamant that he will not be going anywhere for the time being.

It is not the first time that he has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. In July, it was claimed that Chelsea showed a concrete interest in signing Olmo.

Dani Olmo thrived alongside Christopher Nkunku at RB Lepzig

Nkunku will be well aware of the quality that Olmo can bring to west London after playing alongside him at Leipzig.

The two struck up quite the relationship in Germany, with Olmo assisting Nkunku 10 times, as per Transfermarkt.

It was Olmo who set up Nkunku in the 2023 DFB-Pokal final, with Leipzig going on to beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0.

With the amount of attacking options that Maresca has, he could find it tricky to find a place for Olmo in his team. The Chelsea manager is already in a position where he cannot offer Nkunku regular playing time. But a combo of Olmo and Nkunku at Stamford Bridge could be quite an exciting one.
