Four Chelsea players could all push to leave in January as they feel Enzo Maresca isn’t playing them enough

There’s a quartet of Chelsea first-team players that have just been linked with potential moves away from Stamford Bridge.

It’s an extremely talented Chelsea squad when you look around the dressing room, which makes it very difficult for everyone to play regularly.

In fairness, Enzo Maresca has done his best as the Blues manager to share the minutes around. He’s got a pretty consistent starting line-up for the Premier League, while he heavily rotates in the cup competitions.

Clinton Morrison has urged Chelsea to make signings in January, but how many individuals will we see leave the club out the exit doors?

Four Chelsea players who want to play more

Journalist Simon Phillips has shared via his Substack that that the Chelsea quartet of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, and Axel Disasi all want to play more football.

It is explained that the aforementioned Blues stars could push for a move in next month’s January transfer window.

Phillips adds that he’s heard from sources that Disasi, 26, is someone who particularly wants to leave because he doesn’t want to be sitting on the bench at this stage in his career. The £39m defender (Sky Sports) will push for a transfer, but ultimately it will depend on what Chelsea decide.

Disasi is a very useful player in Chelsea’s squad because he can cover at centre-half or right-back, so getting rid of him midway through the season could be an error.

Who’s interested in them?

Interestingly, the Chelsea players above have been linked with various transfer moves already.

Bayern Munich are eyeing Chelsea defender Disasi, who’s only made 14 appearances across all competitions this season. The Frenchman’s not in the current best XI, but do they have the depth to let him go?

Elsewhere, Chelsea attacker Nkunku is linked with various clubs, including Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund. He’s scored 12 goals in 26 matches across all competitions this term, but he’s usually on the bench for the Premier League.

Dewsbury-Hall only joined the Blues in the summer when he followed Maresca from Leicester City, but the midfielder’s struggled for game time. As a result, Man United and Tottenham are watching Chelsea’s Dewsbury-Hall.
