Chelsea are attempting to sign two attackers this summer and they’ve already opened talks for both.
The Blues are embarking on another new era next season following the appointment of Enzo Maresca as the next head coach at Stamford Bridge.
So, how many new faces will be joining him at Chelsea this summer?
There’s already firm speculation that they’re on the brink of signing a defender. The Daily Mail reports that 26-year-old centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo has been undergoing medicals on Tuesday ahead of a move to Chelsea on a free transfer.
The latest talk is that the Blues are chasing two attackers, too.

Chelsea begin talks with two targets
Foot Mercato claims that Chelsea are pushing to sign both Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko in the upcoming summer window.
It is explained that the Blues have identified the young attackers as the two ‘summer priorities’ and the right profiles to help the forward line.
The report says that Chelsea have made contact with the representatives of both Olise and Sesko as they try to reach an agreement with the respective parties.
Olise, 22, is a skilful right-winger that has made his name in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. Described as “very gifted by Gary Lineker on X in 2022, Olise looks the real deal primed for a big transfer.
As for Leipzig’s 21-year-old striker Sesko, he’s a superb young centre-forward that scored 18 goals last season across all competitions.
A big tick for Michael Olise and Benjamin Sesko
The Chelsea Chronicle thinks it would be a great double signing if they add Olise and Sesko to the attacking options ahead of next season.
Journalist Simon Phillips recently claimed via Substack that his top source expects Chelsea to wrap up the signing of Olise this summer.
Palace’s talisman scored 10 goals and made six assists in only 19 Premier League matches last season. When fit, he’s one of the top wingers in the division.
Meanwhile, The Evening Standard has claimed that Chelsea may be willing to trigger the £56m release clause of Leipzig star Sesko to beat Arsenal to his signature.
