It looks like Chelsea could try to re-sign their former academy player Jamal Musiala.
With his contract set to expire in 2026, Jamal Musiala is currently being linked with a move away from Bayern Munich.
Chelsea are one of several top clubs who are said to be interested in the 21-year-old despite not being short of attacking options.
Enzo Maresca has the likes of Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke and Jadon Sancho, who have all performed very well this season. Sancho recently shared how Maresca convinced him to join Chelsea.

Jamal Musiala’s dream destination
While Chelsea are a club close to Musiala’s heart after playing for their academy, a move there does not look to be at the top of his list.
According to TBR, Chelsea are interested in Musiala and have been in constant contact with the player’s representatives.
However, the same outlet claims that the German sees himself playing in Spain if he leaves Bayern.
Musiala recently revealed that it was not easy leaving Chelsea. However, since joining Bayern, he has gone on to become one of the most exciting young attackers in the world.
Who else is interested in Jamal Musiala?
Musiala may very well get his move to Spain, as TBR’s report claims that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are keeping an eye on his contract situation.
Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are also monitoring Musiala, according to the same report.
For as much quality as Musiala has, though, it would be a bit of a surprise if Chelsea made an official bid for the Bayern star.
Musiala’s best position is behind the striker, which is where Palmer has played this season. Right now, you would probably not drop the England international for any other No.10 in the world.
A return to Chelsea would see Musiala reunite with Levi Colwill. Musiala and Colwill enjoyed a good relationship when the pair played with each other at academy level.
