Chelsea are already involved in a busy summer transfer window, and are expected to continue to do business up until the deadline.

The club have so far prioritised signing new attackers, with Liam Delap joining the club in time to compete at the Club World Cup.

Chelsea want Joao Pedro in their squad for their quarter-final against Palmeiras, and he is currently travelling for his medical ahead of the £60m deal.

They will not be able to include Jamie Gittens in their squad after agreeing a deal to sign him too, however now they will be starting to look to other positions to further strengthen their squad.

Enzo Maresca wants a new goalkeeper, and the Blues missed out on the signing of Mike Maignan before the tournament in the United States got underway.

Marcin Bulka has emerged as a target for Chelsea, with a number of other Premier League clubs interested in a deal.

According to CaughtOffside, the Blues are battling Manchester United for a deal for the goalkeeper, with him being available for as little as £17m.

The 25-year-old has been starring for Nice in recent seasons. He was also the starting goalkeeper in their run in the Europa League last season.

Chelsea will be more aware than most of the talent the Polish star has given the fact that he was formerly a product of their academy.

Chelsea given chance to rectify huge Bulka mistake

Despite being a very impressive prospect and making a number of appearances for the youth sides, Bulka never appeared for the first team before leaving in 2019.

He moved to PSG, before finally finding himself a regular place in a starting side at Nice.

Chelsea have endured goalkeeping problems pretty much ever since he left the club, with Maresca losing confidence in Robert Sanchez despite him being the current number one.

The Blues must take the chance to rectify the mistake of previously letting Bulka leave, bringing in a reliable goalkeeper in the process.
