Joao Pedro scored a lot of goals for Chelsea last season, and the Blues could be about to add even more firepower to their frontline.
It has been widely reported that Chelsea are looking for a versatile attacker, with Morgan Rogers’ name constantly popping up.
Chelsea are clearly keen on Rogers, but he is not the only Premier League star the club are considering.

Chelsea contact Eli Junior Kroupi’s agent
In May, it was claimed that Bournemouth have told Chelsea and others that Eli Junior Kroupi is not for sale.
Nevertheless, according to journalist Simon Phillips, the Club World Cup winners are still circling. He has stated on his Substack Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that the Blues have contacted Kroupi’s agent about a potential move this summer.
After a disappointing 2025/26 Premier League season, Chelsea are eager to sign players with a track record in English football.

Chelsea have made a bid for Granit Xhaka and are also pursuing Maxence Lacroix. Lacroix looks attainable, but signing Xhaka and Kroupi will prove difficult.
Like Bournemouth with Kroupi, Sunderland are also being firm with Xhaka, briefing that the midfielder is not for sale.
Eli Junior Kroupi and Joao Pedro had very similar seasons
Kroupi did very well in the Premier League last season, especially for a 20-year-old. In 33 outings, he scored 13 goals.
Pedro scored two more goals but did play two more matches. Ultimately, their outputs were pretty much the same.
Kroupi and Pedro also showed their versatility, playing as a centre-forward and attacking midfielder.
There is a lot to like about both players, and Chelsea fans would probably be happy to see the former join the latter at Stamford Bridge.
Yes, the club want to add more experience to Xabi Alonso’s squad and rightly so, but they will find it hard to say no to a player of Kroupi’s talent and potential. He is the kind of footballer BlueCo have been buying since taking over Chelsea.
