Coventry City and several clubs from Spain are interested in signing Marc Guiu, The Chelsea Chronicle understands.
Guiu is likely to fall down the pecking order next season following the return of Nicolas Jackson and the addition of Emmanuel Emegha.
There is no guarantee that Jackson remains at Chelsea, but Guiu faces a lot of competition for game time whether the Senegal international stays or not.
Joao Pedro is currently the Blues’ first-choice striker, while Liam Delap was his deputy last term.

Chelsea have decided to offload Marc Guiu
Chelsea are demanding £25m for Guiu despite the Spaniard being a 20-year-old who barely kicked a ball during the 2025/26 campaign.
Transfer insider Ekrem Konur has told The Chelsea Chronicle that the Blues have decided to either sell or loan Guiu this summer, with Coventry, Sunderland and Sevilla being just a few clubs who are interested in signing him.
He said: “Chelsea have placed a potential departure for 20-year-old Spanish striker Marc Guiu on the table this summer due to high competition and squad depth in their attacking unit. The London club have given a green light in principle to both loan and permanent offers as interest in the young forward continues to grow across England and Spain.
“Ipswich Town: Emerging as one of the most eager English clubs, aiming to secure Guiu on loan to reinforce their attack while giving him regular starting minutes to boost his development. Coventry City: Closely tracking Guiu’s situation and ready to step in should a suitable loan opportunity materialise. Sunderland: Previously in the mix for the player and keeping the loan option active on their agenda.
“Several Spanish clubs are evaluating the possibility of bringing Guiu back to his home country. Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Valencia CF maintain strong interest, viewing the young forward as a sensible investment due to his familiarity with Spanish football.
“From a financial perspective, Chelsea management has set an opening asking price of £25 million for a permanent transfer. For potential loan deals, the club are willing to remain flexible regarding wage distribution and future buy-option clauses.
“Marc Guiu is set to be one of the widely discussed young forwards of the summer window. Chelsea’s readiness to allow his exit has fuelled interest from Ipswich and other English sides, while La Liga options remain firmly on the table.”
Guiu had a brief loan spell at Sunderland last season before it was cut short due to an injury Delap picked up.
He scored one goal in the Carabao Cup before being recalled to Stamford Bridge.
Coventry loan could be ideal for Marc Guiu
Guiu will want to prove himself in the Premier League after not getting much of a chance at Chelsea, so a loan to Coventry may appeal to the former Barcelona player.
The opportunity to work under Frank Lampard is also likely to be enticing. The Coventry boss is a legend of the game and has a good track record of developing young players.
Whether it is Coventry, Sunderland or a club in Spain, Guiu needs to join another team before the transfer window closes.
The Spain Under-21 international was overlooked at Stamford Bridge last season, and it is very likely to be the same story again if he remains in west London.
Guiu could go into the new season as Chelsea’s fifth-choice striker.
