Chelsea are tipped to be interested in signing Club Brugge attacker Antonio Nusa, but rivals Tottenham are taking action to try beat them to the transfer.
That is according to fresh transfer speculation this week.
Antonio Nusa, who’s just 18, is an exciting youngster linked with the Blues in recent times.
Journalist Ben Jacobs recently claimed via Substack that members of Chelsea’s board have discussed internally Brugge teenager Nusa as a potential target.
This transfer saga has now ramped up in the last 24 hours!

First of all, HLN claimed yesterday that Spurs are in negotiations with Brugge to sign Nusa in a €30million (£26m) deal this month. The plan would be for him to sign in January and then return to the Belgian league to complete the rest of the season on loan with Brugge.
Meanwhile, journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported via X this morning that Spurs are in discussions about signing the 18-year-old forward. He added that the London club do expect competition from Premier League rivals, though.
Apparently, Chelsea could be putting a bid together to get Nusa in the summer.
Chelsea interest in Antonio Nusa
On paper, Nusa’s profile is a perfect fit for the strategy under this Chelsea ownership.
The Brugge left-winger has plenty of pace and skill. He’s already a senior Norway international, too.
The recent speculation points towards Spurs pushing hardest to complete this deal, but is there still time for a late twist in the saga?
Chelsea fans will now be growing used to the club targeting all these emerging stars for the future. In fact, the average age of the squad continues to drop lower and lower with every window.
However, our feeling right now is that the Blue hierarchy should be fully focused on signing a proven senior centre-forward, rather than another promising youngster.
Incidentally, Nusa has a record of six goals and four assists in 62 first-team appearances for Brugge.
