Chelsea are not hopeful of landing one Bayern Munich star.
That is according to a report from 90min.
While it claims that Chelsea are interested in Bayern defender Alphonso Davies, it has also stated that the Blues believe the left-back has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid.
There could be a real opportunity to sign Davies next year, with his contract set to expire in 2025.
If Davies does not put pen to paper on a new one soon, then Bayern will have to consider selling the 23-year-old or risk losing him on a free transfer.

Will Chelsea sign Alphonso Davies?
It seems unlikely. There is a lot the Blues need to do and happen if they are to land the Canada international.
Rival interest is not the only problem Chelsea face. Right now, they have several left-back options.
Levi Colwill, Ben Chilwell, Marc Cucurella and Ian Maatsen can all play there. There are going to have to be a couple of exits, you would imagine, before Mauricio Pochettino brings in another player in that area.
If the Argentine can land Davies, though, he would be quite some signing.
He is obviously a very good full-back going forward. According to WhoScored, he is making 2.7 dribbles per game in the Bundesliga this season. It is the third-highest average in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
With Reece James on the opposite side, Chelsea could easily end up having the best full-back pairing in the Premier League, maybe in the world if the England international manages to stay fit.
They do not seem to be too confident about landing the Bayern star, though, so if the club do want to recruit a new player for the left side of their defence, it is probably going to have to be someone else.
