Chelsea will not let Noni Madueke leave the club on loan next month when the transfer window opens.
Noni Madueke has barely played for Chelsea this season, but a report from The Athletic claims that the Blues have no intention of sanctioning a loan deal for him in January.
This season, the winger has made just one start in the Premier League, with Mauricio Pochettino preferring the likes of Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer over him.
He is now being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, but it looks like Chelsea are reluctant to let him leave on loan.
Pochettino’s side take on Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup this evening, so perhaps Madueke could be handed a rare start.

Should Chelsea loan out Noni Madueke?
All things considered, it could actually be a wise move. Madueke is not playing right now, but he is still a winger with a lot of talent.
The England U21 international is the kind of wide man who is great at beating defenders. Last season, he completed 2.8 dribbles per game in the Premier League, which was the highest average in Chelsea’s squad (WhoScored).
With that in mind, Chelsea should not be in too much of a hurry to sell Madueke. At the same time, though, the former PSV Eindhoven man needs minutes and he is just not getting that at Stamford Bridge right now.
As already mentioned, Pochettino has favoured Sterling and Palmer over Madueke so far, while Mykhailo Mudryk is another winger ahead of him in the pecking order at present.
It is why Chelsea should be thinking about allowing Madueke to leave west London temporarily in the January transfer window. For whatever reason, though, it does not seem like the club are willing to let him join another team on loan.
