Reports have claimed that Chelsea are still looking to let nine more players leave the club before tonight’s transfer deadline.
According to The Mirror, the club are looking to meet Mauricio Pochettino’s demands of having a streamlined squad for the remainder of the season.
This summer has been another chaotic one for the club, with plenty of change to the first team squad that languished in 12th last season.

Signs have already been more promising this year, highlighted by the new signings made that have filled very obvious voids in the squad.

These big signings such as Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia has come at the expense of a number of former key players being sold. This has included the likes of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.

It appears even on the final day of the window this might not be it though. It has been claimed that as many as nine players could still leave today.
Conor Gallagher is the standout name being mentioned. It has been claimed top-four rivals Tottenham are very keen on securing a deal.
Elsewhere, Ian Maatsen is also now being considered by Premier League sides, after it became clear Marc Cucurella would be remaining at Stamford Bridge.
