Chelsea player who Roy Keane called ‘talented’ now really wants to join club after they bid for him

Christian Pulisic is now extremely keen to leave Chelsea for AC Milan after the Italian giants submitted a bid for his signature.

That is according to Rahman Osman of London World.

So, what is the latest on Christian Pulisic? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Well – according to The Athletic – AC Milan have made a £12m bid for the United States international.

That is a seriously low offer from the Serie A side, given the fact Chelsea paid £58m for Pulisic when signing him from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019 and he is still just 24 years of age.

However, the Blues have a problem, as the American – who Roy Keane called a “talented player” on ITV before the USA took on Wales at the World Cup back in November – really wants a move to the San Siro.

London World believe Lyon have made a £21m bid for Pulisic after AC Milan’s £12m offer was submitted, and Chelsea will look to find the deal which makes the most sense financially.

Therefore, the Blues may have to try and convince their No.10 to consider a move to France, unless AC Milan agree to increase their offer by £9m.

Chelsea cannot bend their Pulisic asking price for AC Milan

If Chelsea find themselves in a situation where Pulisic demands to leave for AC Milan, but the Italian giants do not match Lyon’s bid, the Blues have to stand firm.

In all honesty, the Hershey-born forward is worth far more than £21m, so Chelsea are already doing him a favour by putting such a low price tag on his head.

The Evening Standard believe Pulisic is frustrated and desperately wants an exit from Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea have already done their bit to ensure he gets what he wants.

Now, it is up to AC Milan to meet Chelsea’s very reasonable asking price, and put an end to Pulisic’s miserable time in west London.
