Christian Pulisic is said to be frustrated at Stamford Bridge and is desperate to leave Chelsea – despite claims that Mauricio Pochettino wants to work with him.
That is according to the Evening Standard.
So, what is the latest on Christian Pulisic? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the United States international endured a miserable 2022/23 campaign, making just eight starts in the Premier League as Chelsea finished 12th.
As a result, Pulisic wants out.
The Evening Standard believe Chelsea’s No.10 is no longer happy in west London, and is determined to leave Stamford Bridge before transfer deadline day.
It comes after Calciomercato claimed that Pochettino likes Pulisic, and was hoping to work with him at Chelsea.

The American – who was once called “fantastic” by Jürgen Klopp – joins Mason Mount in wanting to leave Stamford Bridge.
It is said that the England international has no intention of signing a new contract at Chelsea with his current terms set to expire in 12 months, amid strong interest from Manchester United.
Chelsea set to take hit on Pulisic
A squad overhaul usually involves some difficult decisions, and Chelsea have accepted that losses will need to be taken.
The Mirror believe Chelsea are happy to take £34m for Romelu Lukaku – who cost £97.5m in 2021 – and now, according to L’Equipe, the Blues are open to accepting just £17m for Pulisic.

That would represent a £41m loss on the £58m Chelsea spent to sign the 24-year-old from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019.
On those two players alone, that is well over £100m lost, although it would be foolish of Chelsea to believe anyone out there will pay £97.5m and £58m for Lukaku and Pulisic right now, given their poor form in recent times.
Nevertheless, Chelsea cannot keep unhappy players at Stamford Bridge, so it is time for the Blues to cut their losses on a few fringe options.
