Tottenham have reportedly tried and failed in attempts to sign different Chelsea players during the January transfer window.
There’s been a small amount of movement at Chelsea so far during the mid-season window, which closes on 3 February.
Aaron Anselmino and Trevoh Chalobah returned to Stamford Bridge this month after being recalled from loan spells. Meanwhile, the likes of Renato Veiga, Alex Matos and Jimmy-Jay Morgan have left the Blues on loan transfers.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea may be busy in the final days of the January window.

Tottenham have been interested in Chelsea trio in January
According to CaughtOffside, Spurs have been ‘scrambling’ for reinforcements in January and eyed several different Chelsea individuals as potential transfer targets.
Apparently, Ange Postecogloue’s side identified some Chelsea players to try bring in on loan, but their London rivals have shown no sympathy as deals have collapsed. Spurs failed with attempts to get Blues centre-back Benoit Badiashile and midfield teammate Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
The report adds that Spurs also viewed Chelsea defender Axel Disasi as a solution, but they got ‘cold feet’ on him and pulled the plug on the idea.
Dewsbury-Hall, who only joined the Blues last summer, is already linked with a transfer exit. In fact, Chelsea have offered Dewsbury-Hall to Everton this month.
Similarly, there is widespread transfer speculation about Disasi’s future. Disasi has even agreed personal terms with Aston Villa as the clubs begin talks about a potential deal.

Chelsea and Tottenham both on awful runs
Fans of both Chelsea and Spurs must be desperate for some late activity in the mid-season transfer window to boost their squad.
In terms of the Blues, they’re down to sixth in the Premier League table because of their poor form in the last month. Chelsea have one win, two draws and three defeats from their last six league matches.
Chelsea are targeting Champions League qualification this season, but that’s becoming increasingly more difficult with every poor result.

It’s even worse for London rivals Spurs, though, who currently sit 15th in the division. Postecoglou’s side have one win, one draw and eight defeats from their previous 10 league games.
The rivals lock horns on 2 April at Stamford Bridge in a league meeting, so it’ll be interesting to see that state of both teams by then.
