One player who recently committed his future to Chelsea could still be sold by the club as part of a major overhaul before the transfer window closes.
The Blues were victorious at the Club World Cup at the weekend, and the players have now finally been given their well-deserved rest after the mammoth 2024/25 campaign.
Enzo Maresca will have left the United States with a great idea of the players he wishes to keep hold of ahead of next season, with plenty of new signings coming in already.
Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens have all joined the club, with youngster Estevao Willian set to link up now his time at Palmeiras has come to an end.
Chelsea have been tipped to sign a centre-back before the window closes, potentially putting a number of their current options in danger.
Benoit Badiashile featured sporadically during the Club World Cup, however saw his tournament end in unfortunate circumstances.

Chelsea pushing to sell Benoit Badiashile this summer
Badiashile was on crutches before the final, and Simon Phillips has claimed that the club are looking to part ways with the centre-back this summer.
He said on his Substack: “However, SPTC sources understand that Chelsea are still actively looking to sell the centre back this summer, with the strongest interest coming in for him from France, mostly Marseille at the moment.
“He is expected to be a player that Chelsea will still look to sell this summer regardless of his apparent desire to stay.
“We’ve also heard that his agent has been looking at potential moves this summer, so there is also a feeling on the player side that they will have to find a new club.”

Badiashile set to be heartbroken by Chelsea
Despite not being a regular starter since Maresca took over at Stamford Bridge, it seems the Frenchman, previously described as ‘tremendous’ (Sky Sports) is extremely happy at the club.
Badiashile insisted he would stay at Chelsea, with him seemingly happy in his role as back up to Levi Colwill.
The Blues have been strongly linked with the signing of Jorrel Hato from Ajax, with the young defender featuring both centrally and on the left of defence.
This should be seen as a priority for the Blues, with there not being a recognised back-up in the squad for Marc Cucurella.
