Hakim Ziyech is reportedly more likely to be sold this month than Chelsea teammates Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Conor Gallagher.

The Telegraph claimed earlier this week that Newcastle United were interested in Blues trio Ziyech, Loftus-Cheek and Gallagher during the January transfer window.

There’s now been a fresh line emerge regarding the aforementioned players.

According to The Telegraph on Thursday, Ziyech is considered more “gettable” for Newcastle than Loftus-Cheek or Gallagher.

Ziyech has started to get more starts for Graham Potter’s side since returning to Chelsea after the World Cup, but he’s still linked with a potential move away from Stamford Bridge. In fact, there’s more chance of him going than two of Chelsea’s academy graduates.

Ziyech, who earns £100,000-a-week, has superb individual talent despite not always showing it during his time in west London. Therefore, you can understand why high-flyers Newcastle are keen on the Moroccan winger.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old midfielder Loftus-Cheek has played 20 Chelsea games this season compared to Ziyech’s 14.

The Telegraph says Newcastle appreciate that Loftus-Cheek could cover midfield or right-back if he completed a move to St James’ Park, but it’s more likely Ziyech joins the Toon.

Mykhailo Mudryk has been added to Chelsea’s squad this month to provide extra competition in the attacking position, but his preferred position is on the left wing.

There could be a nice balance to the Blues line up with Mudryk and Ziyech on opposite flanks, but does Potter see the latter in his long-term plans?
