Chelsea are reportedly considering a move to sign Brighton youngster Evan Ferguson in the summer.
Ferguson, who’s just 18, is an exciting striker that Graham Potter did work with during his time at the Amex Stadium.
However, the teenager’s really kicked on with his development and is getting even more first-team opportunities now under Roberto De Zerbi.
Described as “fantastic” by Brighton manager De Zerbi, Ferguson is slowly making a name for himself with three goals in seven Premier League appearances so far this season.

According to The Sun, London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham are both weighing up potential moves for Ferguson in the summer transfer window at the end of the season.
It is understood that the Blues do rate the young centre-forward highly.
In addition, the report says Spurs believe the Brighton frontman could grow into a long-term successor for Harry Kane.

Chelsea have recruited some of the best youngsters from across Europe in the past two transfer windows, so this kind of deal would follow that trend. There’s no doubt Potter’s side could do with another centre-forward, too.
However, Chelsea’s next No.9 should be someone proven at the top level who’s capable of hitting the ground running.
90min claimed earlier this month that Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is Chelsea’s priority target for the striker position.
As talented and exciting as Brighton’s Ferguson is, Osimhen should be the focus.
