Bayern Munich appointed Thomas Tuchel as their new manager this month. Therefore, we’re not too surprised rumours are now emerging linking Chelsea’s Mason Mount to the German heavyweights.
Mason Mount, 24, was one of the key players during Tuchel’s reign in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The Times claimed earlier this week that Bayern are considering capitalising on Mount’s contract situation this summer.
He’s about to enter the final year of his contract in West London, which leaves the club in a vulnerable position until a new deal is agreed.

According to The Athletic, Mount absolutely loved working under Tuchel when the pair were at Chelsea together.
The report says it would be more of a shock if Tuchel didn’t try to sign Mount if he thought the 24-year-old was within Bayern’s reach.
It is understood that the Bayern manager will still be assessing his current squad at the Allianz Arena before he goes suggesting transfer targets.

It’s a partnership that worked very effectively in the past, so a Tuchel-Mount reunion at Bayern is likely to be equally as effective.
Let’s hope it’s something we don’t have to watch, though.
Chelsea’s attacking midfielder does sometimes still divide opinion within the fanbase, but a large section absolutely love the academy graduate. They admire him with good reason, too!
It’s been a challenging campaign so far for Mount, something you could say for most of his teammates. But everyone is quick to forget his fantastic contribution last season, scoring 13 goals and making 16 assists across all competitions.
We refuse to believe there’s not a way of Graham Potter getting him back in the best XI.
If the off-field drama around his future can be wrapped up, perhaps we’ll see more positive results on the pitch itself.
