Chelsea have reportedly been in discussions about Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Giorgi Mamardashvili, who’s just 22, is a young keeper playing regularly for Valencia this season.
He’s the number one for a Spanish side having a difficult season, but he’s still kept seven cleans sheets in 32 games across all competitions this campaign.
The Georgia international is now linked with a high-profile move away from Valencia.
According to 90min, Mamardashvili’s agents were in England last week to hold discussions with several Premier League sides.
It is understood that the 22-year-old’s representatives spoke with Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United and Leicester City. It’s the Foxes showing the strongest interest in him, too.
The report adds that Atletico Madrid, Monaco and AC Milan also admire the young shot-stopper.
90min says that Mamardashvili wants to move at the end of the season and Valencia will allow this. The La Liga club are looking for £30million to sell him, though.
