Chelsea are reportedly dead-set on keeping Levi Colwill at Stamford Bridge.
Levi Colwill, who’s just 20, is a Chelsea youngster to come through the academy system at Cobham.
The left-footed defender is currently developing during a season-long loan spell at Premier League rivals Brighton. He’s caught the eye during the current international break with England’s Under-21s side, too.
In fact, the Daily Mail recently claimed that Colwill may be in line for a call-up to England’s senior squad later on in 2023.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs on Simon Phillips’ Substack, Chelsea do consider Colwill to be an elite-level prospect
He claims “make no mistake” there is no chance the Blues will sell the centre-back unless he demands to leave.
Jacobs adds that the youngster buys into the long-term plans at club.
Chelsea have been regularly speaking to him this campaign during his loan at Brighton as well.

There is no need to go overboard on the Colwill praise just quite yet, because it’s only going to ramp up unnecessary pressure on him.
However, we don’t blame Chelsea fans for getting excited about the youngster’s future.
He looks a massive 20-year-old talent with a big future ahead of him, so we just hope he stays grounded and keeps learning.
Football London claimed in January that Chelsea have started preliminary talks with Colwill about a new contract.
In our view, it’s a no-brainer to get his long-term future in West London tied down.
It’s going to very intriguing to see where he fits into the club’s plans next season. Does he go out on another loan? Or is there room in the squad for him to make a senior breakthrough in Chelsea colours?
