Chelsea have reportedly started preliminary conversations with Levi Colwill about a new contract.
According to football.london, the Stamford Bridge chain of command have got the ball rolling in terms of tying down Colwill for the foreseeable future.
The teenager looks set to be part of the furniture at Cobham for years to come.
Both the board and Graham Potter apparently have huge plans for the defender going forward, who is already making excellent strides of his own away from his boyhood club.

Colwill has enjoyed a brilliant spell recently whilst on loan with Brighton & Hove Albion.
He started five Premier League games in a row before sustaining a muscular problem earlier this month.
Levi Colwill is the future of Chelsea
This untimely injury put a stop to a terrific run under Roberto de Zerbi, who is clearly a big fan of the 19-year-old.
As are Chelsea, who seem settled upon restoring their academy graduate to his rightful home once he’s finished life out on the road.
Allowing him to play for the likes of Brighton and Huddersfield Town has clearly benefited Colwill’s development.

Had he remained in South West London over the summer, his game time might’ve been minimal at best.
Instead, the England youth international has gained valuable experience at the highest level in the country.
When, or if, he eventually heads back to Chelsea, he will be much brighter, better and bolder than before.
