Borussia Monchengladbach are reportedly waiting for Chelsea to make an offer this month for Marcus Thuram.
Thuram, 25, is a French centre-forward that’s out of contract with Gladbach at the end of the season.
The quick striker has been linked with a potential move to Stamford Bridge during January, and journalist Christian Falk has delivered an update on his future.

Marcus Thuram to Chelsea rumours
Christian Falk has explained that German side Gladbach are currently waiting for Chelsea to step forward with a bid for Thuram.
Apparently, the Bundesliga outfit are thinking of selling the player this month for around £9million.
It sounds like a potential bargain for a buying club, but the fact his deal expires in the summer does twist Gladbach’s hand.
“I heard that Gladbach is still waiting for an offer from Chelsea for Marcus Thuram,” Christian Falk told Caught Offside.
“Gladbach have an idea of selling Thuram for €10million (£9million) now rather than losing him for free in the summer, then reinvesting the money in a new striker.”

Gianluca Di Marzio claimed this week that Chelsea are in pole position to sign Thuram before the January window shuts.
The centre-forward, who has 13 goals in 17 club appearances this season, could be exactly what the Blues need.
Graham Potter’s side are blatantly missing a proper No.9 to lead their line, with Kai Havertz currently struggling to fill that void.
If Chelsea are to move away from mid-table in the Premier League, they need a regular goalscorer in the second half of the campaign to score frequently.
For £9million, Thuram feels like a no-brainer signing this month.
