Lyon are reportedly expecting to receive bids for their defender Malo Gusto, who’s a player that Chelsea could try to sign.
According to the Daily Mail, French side Lyon are braced for offers for the 19-year-old right-back.
It is claimed that Chelsea are among the clubs to have set their sights on the French youngster.
The report adds that the Ligue 1 club are already eyeing Tottenham full-back Djed Spence as a potential replacement.
Malo Gusto interest
The Daily Mail claimed a few weeks ago that Lyon would demand £35million during the January transfer window to sell prized asset Gusto, who’s already making a positive impact in their first team.
In addition, Newcastle United and Manchester United were named as interested buyers in the teenage defender.
Journalist Simon Phillips claimed back in November that Chelsea were scouting and monitoring Gusto.

In our view, Chelsea really need to bring in a right-back before the January window shuts at the end of the month.
It’s been a busy month so far with plenty of incomings at Stamford Bridge, but there’s definitely still a void in a couple of positions.
The Blues are crying out for direct competition to Reece James at right-back, with Trevoh Chalobah and Cesar Azpilicueta doing their best to deputise in that position.
