Brentford are expected to sell Chelsea target David Raya, according to reports.
Speaking on the Simon Phillips Substack, journalist Ben Jacobs has delivered an update on the future of David Raya.
He explains that the Brentford keeper is “extremely likely” to be sold by the Premier League side in the summer transfer window.
He adds that Chelsea are tracking the 27-year-old shot-stopper, whose current contract at the Gtech Community Stadium expires in 2024.
This comes after The Telegraph claimed back in January that Brentford could sell Raya for a fee around £15million-£20million.

Raya was described as “incredible” by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp back in 2021, as transcribed by BBC Sport, and he was referring to his quality with the ball at his feet.
The Spanish goalkeeper fits the modern mould perfectly of being a gloveman with a great passing range and touch.
In addition, he’s got great reflexes and nine Premier League clean sheets already this season.
There is an entire host of talented individuals in the Brentford line-up, which does explain why they’re in the hunt for a European finish this campaign. Raya is one of their very best, though.

If Chelsea do go sign a new first-team goalkeeper next season, we fear for the futures of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.
Graham Potter is putting his faith in Kepa as his number one in-between the sticks.
The 28-year-old Blues keeper still has question marks against his name due to errors in his game, For instance, Jamie Redknapp claims Kepa was “so poor” in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Everton last weekend.
