Any club hoping to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea this month will have to pay big money for the midfielder.
Chelsea want around £60m in total for Conor Gallagher, journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed in his column on Substack.
According to Jacobs, the Blues are also unlikely to bring down their asking price for the 23-year-old during this transfer window.
Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he has spoken to Gallagher about his future, but there may not be much the Argentine can do to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
The Englishman’s contract is running down and Chelsea have the opportunity to make pure profit from his potential sale, so they could be tempted to let him go this month.

Chelsea will not get £60m for Conor Gallagher
Gallagher is having a good campaign, missing just one game in the Premier League for Chelsea so far.
However, it is not the sort of campaign that has made him a £60m midfielder. That is a lot of money for a midfielder whose best attribute right now is probably winning the ball back.
It is the kind of fee Chelsea have no problem paying for a No.6 or No.8, but most clubs do not possess their level of wealth.
Therefore, it is hard to imagine the Blues selling Gallagher for £60m this month, especially with his contract expiring in 2025.
Whoever wants the England international may be able to land him for half the price at the end of the season or for nothing next year if he stays at Chelsea and does not sign a new contract.
Of course, the club may not let it get to that, selling Mason Mount last summer after he had entered the final 12 months of his deal. But the main point is Gallagher is unlikely to be sold for £60m now or in the next transfer window.
